Providing students with an opportunity to pursue their interests, skills and passions.
Our school has a range of programs that support student learning and enhance social and personal development.
Specific Training Results & Improved Physical Education Squad (STRIPES) is a program designed to support students towards to living healthy lives. With ever increasing incidence of mental health issues among teenagers, the program seeks to empower students with strategies to improve their wellbeing through excerise and fitness. STRIPES runs each Tuesday and Thursday morning in the School Gym under the supervision of trained teachers.
Chess club runs each break in the library for students of all year groups to play, learn and challenge themselves.
These daily games are monitored by the library staff and senior chess competitors. This practice leads to our Annual Chess Competition, held in Term 2. All students are welcome to compete against other talented students and staff during this event.
We have a proud tradition of table tennis success over the past 25 years. All students regardless of their age or ability level are welcome to attend after school training sessions on Fridays in the Multi Purpose Centre (MPC). Students who are committed to developing their skills may be asked to represent the school in Regional and State competitions.
Coding club offers students with a passion for computer programming, the opportunity to develop their computational thinking skills by creating projects in a variety of programming environments. All interested students are welcome to attend after school on Tuesday and Thursday during After School Study Hub in the library.
