Principal's Welcome
I would like to extend a very warm welcome to our students, parents and community to our school’s website.
St Johns Park High School is a proud, dynamic learning community. Our school offers an extensive range of teaching and learning programs. These include academic, sporting, cultural, community and leadership activities that are designed to recognise the particular talents of your child and develop their unique abilities.
At St Johns Park High School we understand quality teaching is the key to our students’ success. That is why we are committed to teacher professional development that is focused on developing highly skilled and innovative teachers who are passionate about learning.
We understand the need to be future focused to ensure our students develop the knowledge and skills to not only meet their educational outcomes, but to be prepared for the careers of today and tomorrow. Our focus on project based learning enables all students regardless of their particular interests or individual abilities to experience academic success in a learning environment that promotes collaboration, communication, creative and critical thinking skills. Find out more at this link.
At St Johns Park High School, we all pride ourselves on being safe, respectful learners and show how the school motto “Know First Yourself” together build strong positive relationships and promotes a harmonious, inclusive school culture.
We recognise the individual needs of our students and the importance of strong wellbeing services. Through personalised learning programs, a culture of high expectations and employment of allied health professionals we ensure all students participate equally in their education.
Our students’ academic achievements are remarkable. The consistency of our students achieving exceptional results in the HSC across a number of subjects makes us one of the highest performing high schools in the Fairfield district and in the state of NSW. Each year many students are honoured on the HSC Distinguished Achievers List across a range of academic subjects. In 2021, our DUX and 10 other Year 12 students achieved Band 6 results. 6 of our Year 11 Accelerated Mathematics students were distinguished achievers having completed the HSC in Mathematics or Mathematics Extension 1. More information about our results can be found at this link.
Our website contains information on aspects of the school. I sincerely look forward to working for our school community.
