Supporting students to achieve their best

Study Hub

St Johns Park High School offers an after school Study Hub program for its students. The Study Hub operates in the Library to provide a safe, interruption free zone and optimal learning environment. Students who attend Study Hub are able to access the library resources, computers and printers. They are also welcome to bring classwork, homework, research and assignments as they are able to get support from two teachers.

Study Hub is open Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 3pm - 5pm; all students will be provided with light refreshments.

Clickview

St Johns Park High School has invested in the educational video platform ClickView. Online access to our ClickView library means that every student can access videos easily at home for research, homework and assignments, and teachers ‘flip the classroom', asking students to view video content at home followed by quality discussions and higher-order thinking and problem-solving in class.

All students can access ClickView Online by following these steps:

  1. Go to ClickView Online
  2. Enter your NSW student email address
    (example: john.smith@education.nsw.gov.au)
  3. Select St Johns Park High School
  4. Enter your student portal username and password to login
  5. Search for videos or look in your subject folders 

Canva

Students can use Canva, an online platform to create amazing designs, documents, videos, presentations and more for all studying needs. All students have access to Canva for Education which includes a free template library and allows for collaborative learning.

Students are able to access the platform at home or school at anytime using their NSW Student Email to login via Canva.

LiteracyPlanet

LiteracyPlanet is a digital technology proven to develop literacy skills in students. The program covers all key literacy skills including:

  • Pre-reading
  • Phonics
  • Sight words
  • Reading
  • Spelling
  • Comprehension
  • Grammar and Punctuation
  • Writing

All students are given access to LiteracyPlanet through their English classes. Students are able to access the program at home or school at anytime via the LiteracyPlanet signin.

Mathletics

Mathletics is a captivating online learning space providing students with all the tools they need to be successful learners, both in the classroom and beyond. Powerful courses are aligned to Australian Curriculum Mathematics outcomes across the primary and secondary years, matched with dynamic tools and reporting for teachers. Mathletics supports and caters to each teacher’s unique blend of student driven learning and teacher led instruction.

All students are given access to Mathletics through their Maths teachers. Usernames and passwords at the beginning of the year. Students are able to access Mathletics at home or school at anytime via the Mathletics signin.
