


The Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) is an educational program delivered by The Parks Community Network Inc. to Year 10 students identified by the Careers and Transition Team. Students enrolled in YEP are withdrawn from regular classes for one day each week during the school term.
The aim of the program is to improve student attainment and post school learning, provide employment pathways and address the social and behavioural needs of the individual. YEP is an innovative, creative, highly interactive, educational program, which enhances learning and training outcomes. Each student receives individually tailored support during the program as well as after they have finished the program. Activities are designed to assist young people to develop resilience, lifelong skills and a connection with their local community. Through participation in the program students enhance their ability for independence to reach peak in academic, social and personal excellence.
