Our history

Over 40 years of remarkable achievements and service to our community

St Johns Park High School is a comprehensive coeducational high school in South Western Sydney. St Johns Park High School was founded in 1978 due to the increasing population of the area. It began with 7 classes of year 7 consisting of approximately 175 students and 17 staff. The first year 10 graduated in 1981. The first year 12 to graduate was in 1983. Within 6 years staff numbers had increased to approximately 96.

At its largest, St Johns Park High School provided a quality education for over 1700 students with the school needing over 10 demountable classrooms to cater for this large number. Currently the student population is approximately 900 students.
