Virtual Reality School Tour

At St Johns Park High School, we know that the learning environment has a powerful influence on student learning

Over the past 5 years, our school has worked tirelessly to update our facilities so that students learn in a safe, vibrant and innovative environment.

Science laboratories

St Johns Park High School has 6 dedicated Science laboratories each containing 8 equipped stations for student collaboration and experiments. The department has a range of digital technologies to support student learning.

Agricultural farm

St Johns Park High School provides students with hands on experience in maintaining and running a fully operational agricultural farm. Students are able to grow and harvest crops, maintain the school orchard, learn about agricultural tools and machinery and care for the many farm animals on site.

Commercial kitchens

Our school has 2 commercial kitchens for students in Years 7 to 12 who study food technology and hospitality. Students develop their culinary skills using commercial stoves and catering equipment at industry standard.

Library

Our school library provides students and teachers with a variety of digital and print resources to support learning. Students are welcome to use the computers, printers and multimedia resources before school, during break time and at our After school learning hub. More information on the library, can be found at this link.

School gym

St Johns Park High School's school gym was opened in 2018 (see our photo gallery at this link) and is an excellent facility to support student fitness, flexibility and strength training. While it is used extensively as part of the PDHPE curriculum, students are welcome to join our morning fitness program. Find out more by clicking this link.

Metals and engineering workshop

Our Metals and engineering workshop provides students with an exceptional environment to learn the use of a variety of industry standard machinery and equipment. In the workshop, students complete a number of hands on projects working with metals and other materials. Find out more information on our Vocational Education and Training courses at this link.

Canteen

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.
