School contributions
In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.

Studying at St Johns Park High School
St Johns Park High School welcomes students from overseas wanting to study in an Australian School. The International Student Program offers students applying for a student visa the opportunity to experience our inclusive school culture, first-class teaching and learning, gain high-level English language skills, and experience the Australian lifestyle.
Students who have studied at our school have gained excellent results in the Higher School Certificate and outstanding ATARs (Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank). In 2022, our international student, Nhat Van Vy Lieu, was awarded first place in Vietnamese Continuers. Additionally, our international student, Outtara Nhem, received an ATAR of 97.75 and was our School DUX of 2024.
Application procedures
Students may apply to complete their secondary education in a NSW government school or for up to two years of study in a primary school. Students are encouraged to submit applications through an education agent registered with DE International, who can assist with preparing their documents for application and the visa application process.
All applications for international students must come through New South Wales Department of Education DE International.

The enrolment process
- Application
Contact our office for an Expression of Interest application. Complete and submit the application and attach supporting documents. Submission of the application form does not mean that an enrolment will be accepted. You will be contacted about the outcome of the application and if an interview with the School Principal has been granted. - Visit the school
Get to know our school by contacting us. - Interview
Parents and carers attend an interview with the School Principal. - Offer
You will be notified after the interview if an offer is to be made or if your application was unsuccessful. - Acceptance of place
A student's place is secured when the enrolment process is completed with all supporting documents provided to the school, school uniform is purchased, and fees are paid. - Welcome to our school
You will be notified of any other information regarding starting at St Johns Park High School prior to commencement.
Distance education
Distance education is an equity program for students who are geographically isolated or whose individual circumstances prevent them from regularly attending school. Students must meet one of the conditions in the Distance Education Enrolment Procedures to be eligible to access this program as a full-time student.
