Student voice and leadership
At St Johns Park High School, we value the opinions and voices of our students. They have the opportunity to both develop their leadership skills and participate in student-led initiatives, which are pathways to School Captainship.
Students are welcome to apply at any time during their time at our school for one or more of the following leadership groups:
- Student Representative Council (SRC)
- House Team
- Public Relations Team

The Student Representative Council (SRC) at St Johns Park High School represents the students, promotes their views, and allows for active student participation in decision-making.
The SRC supports and promotes a wide range of issues that affect young people and the community. While the SRC raises funds for numerous charities, it is not the primary focus of this leadership team. The SRC at St Johns Park High School is:

House organises fun games for students to participate in during school breaks, as well as celebrating Public Education Week and the end-of-year carnival.
House spirit is highly prized at Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics Carnivals, with student participation earning points. This, combined with Merit Awards, culminates in the winning House being awarded the coveted House Cup at Presentation and Awards Evening.
Public Relations Team
The Public Relations (PR) Team is a student-led initiative that promotes our school to the wider community. Their aim is to publicise the work of our students and their learning journey in a variety of ways, including through websites, video content, presentations, and research. Students in this team develop their skills in various technologies and work collaboratively to produce high-quality promotional products.
