Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
St Johns Park High School understands the increasing availability of personal devices has accelerated the demand for new modes of learning.
Students are able to bring their own computing device to school. This will allow richer learning experiences across all subjects. It will also enable teaching staff to use technology to immerse students in real world examples on a daily basis.
Students will be required to sign a student agreement relating to the responsible use of devices. Once the student agreement has been signed, students will be able to use their device in class rooms and connect to the Department of Education’s filtered wireless network.
Before purchasing a device for school use parents must review the Department of Educations specifications.
